Aeriol Alderking is a passionate advocate and community leader committed to supporting Canadians through practical solutions and dedicated service. As a treasurer, she kept two buildings functioning during COVID to ensure that addiction recovery programs continued to operate during lockdowns.

During her tenure as Acting President of the Fraser Valley Conservancy, Aeriol brought fiscal responsibility to the organization, helping to protect land and endangered species. She also led the Breakfast Club as a team lead, providing nutritious meals for Abbotsford Middle School students.

Aeriol’s advocacy work spans a wide range of community issues, including assisting seniors, tenants, and landlords, supporting families through transitions, and writing affidavits for children and student educational matters. Her guiding principle is clear:

“Without free speech, we cannot defend our right to our own beliefs and opinions. Parental rights are critical to the well-being of children. All life matters.”

For 30 years, Aeriol has been a vocal advocate for parental rights, from the Toronto School Board protest to Anti-SOGI protests. She also supported the Sikh community by clarifying legislative developments related to SOGI.

Aeriol volunteers with the Multicultural Society and actively participates in PAC, DPAC, and BCCPAC, writing resolutions on youth suicide prevention and emergency funding for parent engagement. Her advocacy led to $10 million being distributed to PACs across the province.

She also led a mission trip to Gitxsan territory to support youth suicide prevention and continued providing hospital visitations and prayer support for the community.

As the founder of “Radically Free Youth” (FB), Aeriol organized five major youth events to address gang violence in Abbotsford, including the “Battle of the Bands” and “Technique Warz” competitions. The Abbotsford Police Department invited Amir Javid, a speaker from one of the events, to speak in local schools to help prevent gang recruitment.

“In an election, every vote must be earned. No one gets a free pass based on previous performance.”

As a single mother, Aeriol ran her own business, balancing her work around her children’s schedules and teaching them entrepreneurial values. Her son now works in Sales Management and has a family of his own in Mission, while her daughter, an Economics MA graduate and member of the Golden Key International Honour Society, works with the federal government in Ottawa.

Aeriol Alderking’s commitment to community, advocacy, and family exemplifies her dedication to serving Canadians with integrity and passion.
