ABOUT

Michael Patterson

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Suspendisse varius enim in eros elementum tristique. Duis cursus, mi quis viverra ornare, eros dolor interdum nulla, ut commodo diam libero vitae erat. Aenean faucibus nibh et justo cursus id rutrum lorem imperdiet. Nunc ut sem vitae risus tristique posuere.

Born in Montreal, Michael spent his early years in Vancouver, Winnipeg, and Toronto before returning to Montreal, where he lived in Dollard-des-Ormeaux for many years. After completing a BA in History at Concordia University, he moved to Côte-des-Neiges.

Michael later pursued literature at McGill University and journalism at Concordia University, eventually building a successful career in communications, providing solutions for human resources clients. Over the years, he worked with three global HR consultancies, living in Saint-Laurent and Ahuntsic-Cartierville, where he raised his three children. Since 2014, he has lived in LaSalle with Anna and their dog, Léo.

While always politically aware, Michael never considered joining a political party until he began following Maxime Bernier after the 2017 Conservative Party leadership race. Inspired by Bernier’s vision, he became a founding member of the PPC, volunteering with the Dorval–Lachine–LaSalle PPC association and later serving as president during the 2019 election. He ran as a candidate in the 2021 election, engaging citizens and sharing the PPC’s platform and values.

If elected, Michael will use his consulting experience and deep commitment to PPC principles to realign the federal government with its constitutional mandate. He advocates for a smaller, more efficient federal government, focused on fiscal prudence, sustained growth in energy and resources, rational foreign policy, and renewed national pride and unity.

Like Maxime Bernier, Michael believes the federal government must put Canadians first, rather than catering to unelected lobbyists, activists, and bureaucrats. He is committed to protecting Canada’s borders, removing internal trade barriers, and empowering Canadians to drive innovation and economic growth through hard work and determination.
