Born and raised in a small town in Nova Scotia, Rob Hawley has dedicated his life to serving his country and community. As a young athlete, he played community hockey and baseball, building the teamwork and leadership skills that would shape his future.
At just 20 years old, Rob answered the call to serve, joining the Canadian Armed Forces. Over his 20-year military career, he was deployed to Somalia, Bosnia, Kosovo, and Afghanistan, gaining firsthand experience in leadership, crisis management, and international peacekeeping.
Following his military service, Rob continued his commitment to public safety as a community peace officer for 10 years and later worked with the Edmonton Police Service in the Arrest Processing Unit until his retirement in 2020.
Now, Rob is bringing his decades of experience, dedication, and integrity to public service. In retirement, he stays active through traveling, working out, hiking in the mountains, and enjoying the open road in his Mustang.
Rob Hawley is ready to serve once again—this time, as a strong voice for his community.
