Dionne was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, and spent much of her childhood visiting extended family in rural areas. One of her most cherished places was the family farm in the RM of Wolseley. She grew up in the North Central neighborhood with her parents and older brother, attending Herchmer Community School and later Martin Collegiate Institute.
After graduating high school, Dionne moved to Calgary to attend the University of Calgary. She quickly realized university wasn’t the right path for her and returned to Regina, where she worked for a year before enrolling in the Architectural and Building Technology program at SIAST Palliser Campus. She graduated in 2011 and began a career in residential construction, later transitioning to commercial construction.
While studying at SIAST, Dionne became a proud mother to a daughter, and has since worked tirelessly to provide a loving and nurturing environment, much like the one she had growing up.
Empathetic and deeply caring, Dionne is an animal lover with a strong sense of community and compassion.
Frustrated with the direction Canada was heading, she decided to get involved in politics. Her interest was sparked by regularly listening to Question Period in the House of Commons. She was drawn to the People’s Party of Canada for its pro-freedom platform and strong stance on individual rights.
Dionne believes in a Canada where the people hold the power, and no one is above another. She is proud to stand for the values of freedom, fairness, and equality, and hopes to represent the people of Regina–Qu’Appelle, the region she proudly calls home.
