Born in 1961 in Odesa, Ukraine, then part of the Soviet Union, Gregory Yablunovsky pursued higher education at the Odesa Technological Institute, earning a Master’s Degree in Engineering with Honours in 1988. After a brief stay in Israel in 1990, he emigrated to Canada in 1994 and became a Canadian citizen in 1997.
From 2002 to 2004, Gregory contributed to the Canadian and NATO forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina (SFOR) as a civil contractor, serving as a Secret Level Systems Administrator on Canadian, CANAM, and NATO networks. His efforts earned him three medals for his service.
Between 2005 and 2021, he worked at SITA, a multinational company in the aviation industry, beginning as a Server Administrator and advancing to Project Manager within three years. His career placed him in direct contact with professionals from diverse countries and cultures, strengthening his global perspective.
A committed member of the People’s Party of Canada since 2019, Gregory has twice run as a PPC candidate in the federal elections of 2019 and 2021.
Abolish all federal DEI programs and policies in the public service and in federal institutions such as the Armed Forces, as well as those that apply to federally regulated industries.
End the Trudeau government’s policy of mass immigration as a solution to manpower shortages (see policy on immigration), and focus instead on encouraging businesses to invest and improve their productivity.
Work with provinces to curb speculation and money laundering by foreign non-resident buyers in Canada’s land and housing markets.
