Michael Manchen is a long-time supporter of the People’s Party of Canada and ran as a candidate in the 2021 federal election. He proudly returns as the candidate for Lakeland, driven by a strong commitment to freedom and prosperity for all Canadians.
Based in the Lakeland region, Michael and his wife of 30 years raised two sons, and he is determined to leave them with a country they can be proud to call home—strong and free.
With over 25 years of experience in Alberta’s oil and gas sector, Michael brings extensive knowledge of operations, regulations, and leadership, supported by a broad background in education and training. He currently works in property management and is deeply involved in his community, having served on numerous boards, including Fire & Rescue, a local playschool, and a county snowmobile club.
Michael also serves as Team PPC’s Northern Alberta District Coordinator, helping build a strong, united team across the region. He welcomes all who share the PPC’s vision to join and contribute to the growing movement.
